Hi all!
Just wondering if anybody has been to the Contempo Cafe recently (or at all since it opened)?
Just was wondering because I've become accustom to the frozen Coke machines that were at the Food & Fun center
Is it still there...at the new Contempo Cafe
I've done some research & tried looking for pictures but no luck :(
Thanks in advance for your help! :D:

They have good flatbread. I don't remember about frozen drinks though.

We ate there on the 3rd when we went down to see the fireworks. No frozen coke machines. Flatbreads and salads are very good, oldest daughter had the fish (mahi I think) sandwich and she said it was the best she has ever had.

The frozen coke machines have seem to be making thier way OUT of all the resorts. POP used to have them and they were taken out and replaced with another coffee machine or something.
There was a time when frozen coke was the only kind of soda I would get. Now I'm back to Pepsi...

I wish I could tell you but by the time I got to the grand canyon concourse the first night there (last Friday night) I was desperate for something to drink but it seemed to be closed already! It definitely is not open 24 hours at least it wasn't last week. There was nobody there.
In fact I have never seen the entire GCC completely deserted, but it was when I got there at 11 last Friday night. I didn't even see anyone working the monorail station until I saw one guy around the far side of the elevator and this was despite the fact it was extra magic hours in the MK until 2!
The only sound in the place was the DVC advertisement playing on the TV. that was it.
I stood there, awestruck, to see it completely empty. No tourists, no CMs. Just me.
Then I saw the light from the monorail coming into the station and then I saw the monorail CM at the other end. Yeah, I got teary eyed.
But back to the restaurant dude do your homework on the hours cause I don't think they're open late.

I think it's been like that ever since the CC Steak House closed...there's no longer anything to draw large crowds to the 4th floor late in the evening.
The *new* quietness is nice if you're staying in the tower, especially on the side with Chef Mickeys. Very nice for things like sleeping :D:

no reason to shut down the soda machines. Most other places stay open till midnight at least.
