If we think about it, not everyone knows who he is. I certainly didn't. And then, of course - people are dying on a daily basis. Not just headliners. So all this "People are dying everywhere" is kinda over played.
I certainly would not put this guy in the rankings of MJ, Ed, and Farrah. But I can perhaps categorize him in the b, c, or d list "celebs" like that infomercial guy. So, he's #2 on the people on his level. Mr. Infomercial and then him.

Looks like I was the only one who knew who Fred was, Sorry I brought it up Sarah but he was A list in the late 70's and early 80's

I knew who he was too. Talented fellow... Saw a vid of him on the Dave Letterman Show on Youtube when I saw he passed away.
