Yak In The Hat

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Yak In The Hat

Post by drcorey » Mon Jun 22, 2009 8:50 pm

saw something funny today.
people got off a ride and got sick, and grabbed a girls hat, and promptly yaked in said hat. and a big fight started when the yakker wouldnt pay the yakkie for said now full and oosing hat. boy, the nerve of some people.
violate someones hat and not pay for it because it's too expensive.

stuff like this you cant see for free, at Disneyland.

I have seen that too. I wonder why they can't aim for a trash can or the nearest toilet? The ground must be the best. Costodial had at least 5 code v's last week. My friend said the trail started at the tea cups and went to It's a Small World."

The girl should have given the hat to the yaker. Right on top of their pointy head.

Here at WDW, we have two ways of saying that: "Signal V" and "Protien Spill" (the most famous, of course)

As I understand it, your "Codes" and our "Signals" are pretty close.

The one that makes me laugh is in Monorails, the coordinators took over a Ten- code for break. If you're on lunch, you use 10-81. But if you're going on your quarter-hour-long break, they tell you to take a 10-15.

Imagine my surprise when I was going through the OG's the other day...

I would have. The moment they take and destroy my property and won't replace it, they have coming anything I do to them.

If my pocket-sized cheat sheet is correct ... Suspect in Custody?

(my personal favorite is 10-5 (although, if you look it up, you're not likely to find it))

What kind of hat was it? I was thinking Dr. Suess Cat in the Hat type, or maybe Mad Hatter type. Because baseball caps and mouse ears wouldn't hold a full load. The title of this thread is hilarious. I keep thinking of a yak(animal) coming out of someone's mouth. Gotta go-my landlady's taking me out somewhere.

10-15: Suspect in Custody.

And I love 10-5. I use it every once in a while.
