I think that's by the same people who did the original. If so, it's a radio station out of Portland, AM 860 KPAM. I listened to the show regularly that I first heard do a BlondStar ad about 2004. Anyone hear of it before that?

Years ago there were some underground radio stations in the San Francisco area. One was KRAB, in your hair, everywhere. The other was KRAP, all over your dial. Susi may have worked for them.Big Wallaby wrote:I think that's by the same people who did the original. If so, it's a radio station out of Portland, AM 860 KPAM. Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Hmm, havn't heard them, but I do have some record albums of Hudson and Landry.
(for you whippersnappers, records are big black plastic disks that predate CD's, and they can get abmost 30 to 45 minutes of music on each side!!!!)

I only remember the 33 1/3, 45, 78 speeds. I don't think I ever saw a machine that that had the 16 2/3 speed. Maybe ones at school or the library? the talking books?hobie16 wrote:And they had four speeds!
I do remember hearing and following along in the book of the Pinocchio story during storytime at the local library.

I remember my old portable record player! My brother and I would play my Mom's origional Elvis records on it on 78 rpm and die laughing. Also good for placing toys on and watching them fly off....
We had to be careful, though, had a piece of metal on it that would give you a nasty shock if you touched it.....

Yeah, we had a record player--turntable to you kids--with four speeds. My younger sister and I used to put a record on, and play it first at 16 RPM, then 33 1/3, then 72, and finally at 78 RPM. It was a blast.
