I've thought about doing this, but I'm hesitant to crash all the old posts that link to them. Sadly, the BBS has no function to tell me how often or how recently any given smiley is linked.

If someone is willing to survey the past year's worth of posts and let me know which smileys are never used, I'll be happy to purge them.

What kind of database is being used? Some cleverly crafted queries could knock this out, or I nominate BRWombat to check each and every thread :D
