More like they'll relabel it for Quebec and a few theatres in New Brunswick. I'm sure the Rest of Canada will be watching Bolt along with our neighbours to the south.

Why, does Bolt mean something else in French? I'm sure we've all heard the story of a guy on a business trip in the Middle East who was in a local bazaar looking for a gift for his pre-teen son back home. He spots a box with the word "Barf" on it, thinks it's a perfect gift and buys it, only to discover that the word Barf means "snow" in Arabic; he'd just bought his son a box of laundry detergent! :D:

I remember there was TV movie, think it was titled "The 38th Floor", or something similar, it was about a woman unjustly forced into a mental hospital even though there's nothing wrong with her. I heard it confused people in Chicago, because there the 38th floor is local slang for the mayor's office.

Parker Pen Company was doing a promotion in South America several years ago. The word "embarazada" means "pregnant" in Spanish, but they mistakenly used that word for "embarrassed". They wanted to persuade business people to use a nice Parker Pen instead of a cheap pen, which might be embarrassing for an executive. But the ad translated, "Don't be pregnant, use a Parker Pen!"

Braniff Airlines also had problems when they confused the word for "leather" with the word for "skin" (actually both translate as "cuero"), so when boasting about their leather seats in first class, they were actually telling passengers they could FLY NAKED! :p: :p: :p:
