Bat's Day Fun!

Post by DisneyMom » Sun Nov 09, 2008 9:38 pm

I got to go with my family and some friends for Bat's Day at Disneyland today,
we saw lots of great Goth attire, my son with Autism LOVES those outfits!
Well, we were walking out of Tomorrowland and GUESS WHO is there, dressed in cute white blouses, black skirts and custom Mickey Ears with Bats?
THE BUBBLE LADIES!!!!!!!
Let me tell you, they are Adorable with very nice Families! They kindly gave us some of their special bubbles after introductions and some fun chat, but we both had to go do our musts and promised we'd see each other again soon, Maybe they can Post a Picture here! ;)
Thanks Elena and Elyse! It was great to meet you! :)

Maybe they had to go to the bat-room!

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

I saw this guy who had a nice long sleeve shirt with red buckles on it. I told him that he was nicely dress and he looked sharp. This guy was so friendly. I remember gothic days in high school. My sisters and I did that and it was fun. ;)

I saw some Goths today too, very nice people in their 'wild' outfits.

Toward the end of my shift I met a man who was dressed nicely, including a Top Hat. He said his name is Indy. Told him he brought class to Plaza tonight too.

[font="Palatino Linotype"]bats day was so much fun yesterday (even if we did have to leave early)...some of the people who dress are so cute and very clever...and just think, they used to wear all that black, leather, and pleather at the end of august (this is the first time that it was in november)...

but it was really a lot of fun meeting disneymom and her family and friends!!!
it turned out that we managed to get in touch by phone and we were in almost the same place at the same time...fortuosity! she's very sweet and her husband a very nice guy...and she made us these extremely cute and cool bat pins with mickey heads! (we showed them to noah...he liked them...i'll get you his email dm)...but as dm said we had to part and i hope they had as great a time as we did...i did say that i wouldn't be surprised if we met up again some time during the day...

...then it was time to go (aaaawwwww...but my hubby and i had tickets to go see the who...and i've waited 40 yrs to see them)...but who did we run into on the way to the tram? disneymom and her family! so we got in a little more chatting...it was a great way to end a day at disneyland...and i will post photos as soon as i get them out of my camera

Bat days are so much better than the RAVE Days. Bat crew knows how to dress and have the best manners. Rave looks like the kids went to Seasame Street and took the fuzziness away from the monsters. The favorite for securit at Disneyland is the 4:20 in front of the castle. Allot of SG hang out there and get canned for smoking maryjane. I have been to the park when RAVE days have been there.
