Posting in the Right Forum

Post by Zazu » Fri Sep 26, 2008 9:32 pm

Gang,

It has come to my attention that entirely too many threads are being posted in the "Break Room" that should be posted in the "Newsroom", and I'm getting tired of transferring them.

Here's a quick test: If you are starting a new thread, and your post includes a link to a story or video at some other web site, the thread probably belongs in the Newsroom.

So put it there, already!!!

Thank you,
Zazu, Admin,

Okie-doke! What about if the linky is to a cute vid at youtube? Or does it only go into the newsroom if it is a news story vid?

Just want to make sure, I usually put fun vids in the break room as they are not news, but amusement...

Well, Zazu, that is NEWS to me, so how come you posted it in The Break Room? ;)

Oops - sorry about the link to the news story about Paul Newman's death just posted in the Break Room.

Ms Matterhorn - be careful, you don't want to irritate the wise and wonderful Zazu or we will ALL suffer! :p: That was pretty funny, though. :D:

You are absolutely right, Whazzup! My humblest apologies, O Great Feathered One!

Hurricane Katrina pales in comparison to what happens when Zazu get's peeved. Besides that he's running out of places to hide the bodies.

In my defense, the description under the "Newsroom" states "News about Theme Parks and their parent companies."

As it was a news story that was not about a theme park or a parent company I thought the breakroom was the appropriate place..

My apologies..

1. The administrator of a site is always right.
2. Never argue with a bird who knows WDW and DLR so well that bodies are NEVER found. Jimmy Hoffa is buried at WDW.

Hugs for Zazu and I will try to put things in their right place. Would trash can be an option?

An addition to the "Rules of the Road"

Only known it to happen once and frankly, I almost didn't notice, what with the locusts, fiery hale, and hordes of frogs.
