I used to stand near the main street backstage doors and every time the float with Von Drake on it would pass by, he would wave, and then salute as the float turned toward the doors to go backstage. I could never figure out if he was saluting me as he left the stage, or it was a signal to his unit's handlers.

also, that little dinosaur in the parade, during a rest stop sometime it would do a little dance.

I very vaguely remember this parade. It was a fun one.

I was very young when it was around.

The funny this is, if a random parade like this were to come out today, most of the people at the usual message boards would probably hate it.
