can't blow my whole budget just for a room thou.
the pennysleeper I used to stay at was sold and now they want about 100.00 a night.

Motel 6 is always a good place to check out. But even there will be a lil pricey due to the fact that it's Summer and it's Disney.

Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.

Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

For $15 a day you can camp in my backyard lol.
If I had a room available I would let you stay for $10 a night and sort of clean towels included. It leaked and so no room.

There are cheaper ones but not sure where and you are going peak season.

There is a Best Western literally right across the street.

You can try hotels.com, i have looked there and found a couple places around $50.00 a night but I read the ratings by people who stayed there and they were not good. I used to stay at the motel 6 on w Disney way all the time when it was a red roof inn. I liked it, good sized rooms and price was right, staff friendly and always let me check in early plus I got points the gave me free nights. They went corporate and changed to motel 6, price went up, staff not as friendly and went to check in early and was told come back after 3 they were full. I stayed there enough times to know by the look of the parking lot they were not full so I started looking for another place. On my last several trinps, including the one I am leaving on today I have stayed at the Days Inn on Ball road, right at the corner of Ball and Disneyland drive. Its small, all the rooms have fridge and microwaves plus free wifi and a continental breakfast if your one that likes to sleep late instead of going to the parks. They start it at 7:00 am and I'm usually long gone by then. If you have a car its out of the parking lot and into the Mickey and friends parking garage so very quick and easy for me to get to the parks. I think the shuttle picks up at the corner or close to it, you would have to check the website for the exact pick up. I booked my rooms for this weekend for $80.00 a night with AAA discount plus I have a frequent customer card that earns me free nights again. There are also at least two more days inn in the area. Just if your looking for within walking distance be very careful, i have seen many places that say walking distance and they really are not, including the place I stay and you would have to walk at least a mile to enter the parks.

The beach isn't really that far from DLR, I've seen plenty of people sleeping there...
