Now that I've been posting, I feel like I should apologize for a few things that happened at my last trip to WDW.
Christmas of 2004 I was with my ex's family at WDW. He was the youngest of 6 with roughly 6 neices and nephews and various spouses/former spouses/girlfriends in tow. So we were a HUGE group. Anyway...we're all in line for Pirates when one of his nephews who was maybe 6 at the time starts singing the 12 Days of Christmas. They all started singing along and I could tell the other guests on line at first thought it was cute but...well it's a long song and it stopped being cute by the fifth off key and very loud "fiiiiiiiiiiiive goooooollllllddd rrrriiiiinnngs". I think that was part of the reason why we were applauded a wee bit too early (around the 10th day). So to anyone who was working that day or waiting in line that day, I'm sorry ;)
That was funny but unforunately there was some unpleasantness with that trip. I really hope to go again soon, my new sweetie and I are looking at getting married soon and we like the package deal/we take care of the details the Escape weddings offer. Has anyone have any experience with these?

What's wrong with a little public singing? Everyone else should have joined in.

Nothing wrong with that, I would enjoy some creativity/singing in line rather than moaning and groaning or the dreaded pushing shoving and cutting! I love cute little kids, and I am often the one egging them on to sing something from the Little Mermaid or the Jungle Book to me at work (trying to distract them from an earwash or something) ;)

Believe me if I knew all the words I would join in that's for sure I agree it beats the heck out of the moaning and complaining most people do in lines LOL
One of the only amusing parts of sharing DHS with the large groups of high school choirs/bands on a Saturday last April was a few instances of spontaneous public singing on the part of a student or two. And those kids could SING.
We all had a blast singing along with our favorite DHS Streetmosphere Citizen of Hollywood, Bucky Greenhorn, that day. He started You are my Sunshine and everybody sang along- until he got to the second verse and asked if anybody knew it.
I was the only one of the crowd who did, and he came right up to my chair and sang harmony as I sang the melody. It was a very sweet moment for me, because, as I told Bucky afterward, I only knew the second verse because my beloved grandfather (who passed away many years ago when I was 11) taught it to me when I was a child. He then whispered to me that he had had to relearn it himself for the show LOL We totally <3 Bucky Greenhorn!
I love spontaneous public singing especially when the participants are sober and on key LOL It shows you have a sense of humor. Of course this does not apply during shows of any sort already going on (as in, singing along at the theater :mad: or during Disney parades and fireworks, etc.) I mean fun singing in fun places, but you all know what I mean anyway so I'll just stop talking now.

I've ben known to break out in song at the drop of a hat. Last weekend we were returning to the harbor after a regatta. Our slip is next to the committee boat. Dude! Another parody-on-the-fly type! That rocks. My husband and I do this constantly. The cat, especially, seems to inspire some of our 'greatest hits'. It's amazing how long it takes me to balance the checkbook with this brain of mine but if you need a cat related parody of "I am not yet dead" from Spamalot at a moment's notice ("I am not yet fed!") then I'm your girl! I didn't mind it at first but it is a long song...and once everyone got distracted the kids started climbing on everything. 
It was a good trick though to get away with being naughty, I'll give them that.
Right now though, I wish someone would start singing here at my job to make the day go by a little faster...Snow White's "whistle while you work" suggestion won't fly over well here.
