Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Hey kids,
So I just saw the new Indy with some of my friends, and we were thinking about whether or not Disneyland was going to change Indy for the new movie, like they did with Pirates.
I don't think they're going to change Indy, because the ride is "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye", so adding crystal skulls would be kinda random. But Disney always suprises. What do you guys think?
Also, I heard that Star Tours is getting revamped. Is this true?

Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.
Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

I think they should build a new Indiana Jones ride at Hollywood Studios.

Actually, we are revamping Indy for the new movie. We're also putting a Indy overlay on the Jungle Cruise and a new stage show in Adventureland.smart1hermione wrote:So I just saw the new Indy with some of my friends, and we were thinking about whether or not Disneyland was going to change Indy for the new movie, like they did with Pirates.

And I heard that the PeopleMover will be back next week, lol :p: .smart1hermione wrote:Also, I heard that Star Tours is getting revamped. Is this true?
(Basically, we'll know about Star Tours 2.0 when the powers that be at Parks and Resorts put out a press release saying something)

The Indiana Jones ride in Tokyo DisneySea is called Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull. I think the ride opened when the park did back in 2001. The description of the ride according to my park map;"Search for the Fountain of Youth in a harrowing life-or-death journey to escape the supernatural and vengeful Crystal Skull."
The ride is enclosed in a Mayan Temple.

Hmm, well, that fits the movie. Though the crystal skull wasn't vengeful...dazyhill wrote:The Indiana Jones ride in Tokyo DisneySea is called Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull. I really wouldn't mind it getting updated. I don't think it would require a huge effort, and the show has been running for 20 years...exactly the same. It has become very low on my list of things to do, along with a lot of MGM for having low repeat value.PapaMouse wrote:Any word if DHS is changing it's Indy show? Hope not.
