I'll be a full-timer soon enough!

Post by Shorty82 » Wed Apr 02, 2008 11:17 pm

I was at Studios eating a bite of lunch (more of a brunch but anyway) when my phone rang. It was Casting telling me that effective the 20th I'll be full-time!

I'm very happy, I've been wanting to be full-time but the only roles open were part-time when I came in. I'm so glad that I've been promoted so soon. Now that I know I'll be having a decent number of guaranteed hours soon enough I can worry about finding my own place.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Congratulations! That was quick, by any standard.

Though on the other hand, this also means you'll have to start dealing with the hassle of Line Scheduling, lol.

Just remember to look at all the lines in advance and pick 10 that you like in order of preference. Most of the time, at least one will be open.

Congrats! Hopefully I will be joining you soon! I am debating on applying for multiple areas or just trying to stay in FWW and wait for cross-training. Are you staying in the same area? I hope we get to meet when I come back in a month!

Yes, I'm staying in the same area. I'm getting to know MSE really well and the starting to get to know the people there so my request was to be made FT there.

It's quantity, not quality in some circles ;)

Wow, that's wonderful news!! Full time after less than a month at WDW. I knew you'd be successful down there. :D:

I have to stop by AZ and pick up some wiper's for Steve's truck. Do you want me to mention how you're doing, or have you been in contact with anyone there? I can keep it mum and not say a word if that's what you prefer.
