Non Disney AAs

Post by drcorey » Fri Mar 28, 2008 12:44 am

It's good to see some generic AA figures saved from the trash.
this is a video of a person who saved and setup in his house some figures from a old 80's pizza place, these were called the
Rock-A-Fire Explosion. the one shown are Billy Bob, LoonyBird,
and a Rolf DeWolf and Little Earl, his hand puppet.

these things ran on reel to reel tape when they first came out,
then a modded VCR tape then digital cdrom before they went out of business.

Yeah, Showbiz Pizza Place (before they were bought out by Chuck E Cheese)

In fact the "Where a kid can be a kid" slogan was theirs. Chuck E. Cheese just adopted it after the buyout.

Note: My wife was Billybob at Showbiz.

Oh wow, I DO remember these guys!

I went to some Miniature Golf and Arcade place, they had these guys installed and redressed as Pirates.

Here is a older Helen Henny singing a neat song. Tree Tops, I think.

OK I remember this show! We had a showbiz pizza place (We called it Fun Time Pizza, I don't think it was actually part of the Showbiz franchise even though they had a Rock-a-fire) back when I was growing up in NJ. My dad told me it burned down, but so far have found no confirmation on this (I think he lied so he wouldn't have to take me so far to go to Chuck E Cheese when we had one closer to the house). It helped me get through the months between WDW vacations.
