Am I a SG??

Post by sean1966 » Wed Feb 06, 2008 8:25 am

I've been reading about the character attacks on here and it got me thinking. I was at US several years ago and was getting my picture taken with the X-Men. One of the girls was rubbing something up against my back as she was getting into pose. It was probably part of her costume. I turned to her and jokingly said "I hope that's your costume you're poking me with." Was that uncool? I never thought it was a problem till today. Am I a SG???

Bah, don't worry about it. I might have responded the same way, as I am not a real personal contact person. If you start rubbing my back, I get nervous. Not sure why I so like my personal space.

Naaaaah, we all probably get a little funny when we are posing with the characters!
This past weekend I told Pluto that I would have my husband behave so Pluto wouldn't chase him.....Pluto acted as if he would NEVER do such a thing,so I felt a little bad even suggesting it! :o:

At the MNSSHP we had dinner at the Liberty Tree Character meal. All of the characters were dressed in Halloween costumes. Chip was dressed as a sort of Spiderman character. Everytime he came to the table, I sang "Spider Chip, Spider Chip, does whatever a Spider Chip does!" The performer probably went home singing that under his breath and cursing me! :D: All of the characters had masks on. When Goofy came to the table I called him Pluto. He looked at me like "What a SG!"

"Oh," I said, "you're Goofy! I didn't recognize you with the mask on!"

We had so much fun with the characters all night. I kept calling them all by the wrong names (until they'd lift the corner of their mask to show me who they REALLY were) and they kept coming back to the table frequently. I think they were enjoying the humor, and they really appreciated the fact that my four-year-old nephew thought it was funny too. He giggled every time I called Goofy Pluto and Pluto Goofy.

I always like calling Chip, Dale or vice-versa. When I pointed out to my daughter (she was calling Chip, Dale, on her own hehe) how to tell them apart (loudly for the table full of SG's next to us who did the same, now I know where my daughter got it...) Chip was very happy. Dale had the most fun with us that trip though.

sean 1966: If you were rubbing something on her back that would make you an SG.

Theme Park Where: Spider Chip was probably easily removed from the head. Unlike another song I'll not name.

Then why can't I get rid of it after writing that post?

Spider Chip, Spider Chip! Does whatever a Spider Chip does!

Uh, does it have anything to do with the size of the world and how it really is small, after all?

Most likely if you have to ask you aren't. If you think you might be a stupid guest you have already eliminated half of the equation. ;)
