One month till the Mouse
One month till the Mouse
One month from today, I'll be back at WDW, escaping the tail end of the Boston winter and enjoying the warm weather and Disney golf. (Seems half the golf CMs are snowbirds from my area.) Oh, and watching out for SGs, as I've seen a few in my time.
I've found that the worst tend to be the parents who drag their babies and toddlers around the park at all hours of the day and night, even when their little ones are clearly too tired to go on. I saw this happen one night a couple years back at Epcot EMH. (That, and the SG yelling at the security guard outside The Land about how "I pay your eight dollars an hour!" Think it was over a stroller he was trying to bring in or retrieve.) It's like, people have to stretch their Disney dollar as far as it can go at the expense of their kids' health and enjoyment. When the kids are done, they're done!
On another note, I'm taking my parents to see Cirque du Soleil with my brother and his wife. Anyone here (CM or otherwise) done this? I've heard amazing things.
To get in the mood, I watched this video of the Epcot 25th Anniversary fireworks, and kicked myself that we were at Disney exactly one week after the celebration. Epcot is my favorite park, and it opened less than a month after I was born...

Actually...it's the Bubble Ladies Tour. :) So you could say that. And I believe the plan is to have several days/meals/activities together if possible. You're more than welcome to join!

Cirque is amazing. I've seen it several times and it's a new experience every time you see it.

LOL....It's a conspiracy of the everyone on here to fill up the parks for just one day with non-stupid guests. LOL I am in the Northern fox chapter. :D:KidAtHeart wrote:Actually...it's the Bubble Ladies Tour. :) So you could say that. But what Kid said is why we going enmasse this time. I am going to try to put up our(my personal) itinerary soon with some little mini meets so that we can all get together at. I am not sure what all else is going on with the Bubble ladies tour but I will be bringing my own bubbles...hehehe Hey I got a 5 yr old, they come with me anyway. :D: Keep an eye out for the meets schedule around the the middle of Feb. (NO LATER) One I know we will be doing is the Kitchen Sink (explanations later on that..lol)
Re: One month till the Mouse
I probably won't make it. I'll be spending lots of time with my family. But I will keep my ear to the ground for SGT and report if I see anything good. It is around Spring Break, after all!KidAtHeart wrote:Actually...it's the Bubble Ladies Tour. :) So you could say that. You are going to be in the parks right? Then you will have opportunities galore to say hi. When we say meets it is more like ....HEY, We are gonna go have a Dole Whip at 2pm on Tuesday March 4 in the MK. Wanna come join us?goofyjoe wrote:I probably won't make it. The family is very welcome to join too. I will have my "family" with me too. This is not exclusive to just SGT members only. The more the merrier.
Re: One month till the Mouse
Thanks for the invite. Unfortunately, I'll probably be on the sixteenth or seventeenth hole of either Palm or Osprey at that time. My mother loves Dole Whip!
