First Post: Non-SG taking on a SG

Post by WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot » Sat Dec 29, 2007 1:16 am

First off hello, I recently found this forum and think it's great. I was getting sick of Brand X, and their sense of entitlement. I find it refreshing that there is a place for you CMs to come and blow off some steam. I appreciate all that you do for us, the guest, and hopefully I have made some of your days a little better with some of the conversations we have gotten into.

Anyway back to the topic at hand. I was down recently from 12-15 to 12-18 and saw the most amazintg thing, a bunch of SG teens getting called out on the carpet by what appeared to be a non-SG. It was the 16th after the MVMCP (which IMHO has seen better days) we were riding the resort monorail and a group of foriegn teens got on at the Contemporary. Well they were being loud and obnoxious, and to top it off they were throwing food wrappers on the floor of monorail. Well the other people in the car were getting of at the TTC and picked up one of their wrappers and said "Here, take this back to your country and through it on the ground over there. You goddamn foriegners" and threw the wrapper in their face.

I couldn't stop laughing, the best part was at the GF there was security waiting to escort them off the monorail. :D:

That incident and this board reinstilled (sp?) my faith that not everyone who goes to a WDW park is an idiot.

Not all are idiots, just the most noticable as they tend to be loud in their ignorance.

Welcome to SGT and the official welcoming marsupials will be along soon to give you the full welcome with all the bells and whistles (or at least flashy smilies).

Randy

Welcome! I believe one of the marsupials is on vacation down in WDW today, but at least one of them should be along eventually for that proper welcome you've been promised...

Just wanted to say: I love your screen name. Was Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo too long? ;)

You probably like Van Halen's album titled For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

Welcome to the most ragtag group of Disney loving SG hating folks. That was a great story! I probably would have done the same, but then I can get very mouthy. I am a smartass, menopausal and have a big mouth when perturbed and I am NOT afraid to use it! ;) I did just a few days ago at DL. Really! I smartmouthed some SGs who needed it! :D: I did!!! I did!!! My tale of woe to the Land of Magic will be posted soon as I get enough energy to do so! I am fighting Bronchitis and will post in a few days when my energy is back! It was yet another of the *Disney Christmas trips from Hell* for us! Even Raffle got sick this time!!!!!

The welcoming Marsupial should be along sometime soon to welcome you in with all sorts of fanfare and glitter! One of em is on vacation, I believe in the Walt Disney Suite on a cruise  ....He was supposed to take ALL of us with him! Heeheehee!!!!!
Have a good time here, we all love each other *the way family loves each other* :hysteria: if you can handle that, you're good to go!
susi*I am sooooooo sick from my trip to DL :( *slicker
