National Treasure 2

Post by ktulu » Fri Dec 21, 2007 9:24 pm

Okay, so my wife and I got to go out tonight and see a movie without the kiddo. We saw National Treasure 2. I liked it. The trailers for Wall-E and Narnia played, both very cool. Wall-E looks really good. The best thing was the cartoon before the feature played, there was even a photo of Walt (a real one) and a photo of Lasseter as well. It almost feels like Walt is in charge again...

Is National Treasure worthy of a theatre visit, or wait for the DVD?

I thought the first one was pretty good, how is this one?

My wife thought it was the same move, just a different story. I tend to shut off my brain and just enjoy movies, so I really liked it. I think it's theater worthy, we chose it over the other offerings. Plus there is a new Goofy cartoon :)

Not sure if it's still in theaters but No Country For Old Men was riveting.

If you mean dead, except for Tommy Lee Jones and the baddest bad guy I've seen in a long time, yup.

I'll go with you, Pirate. :) I don't mind death and destruction if the story is well told and well acted, which I understand it is in this movie.
