SG at a Disney event in Seattle

Post by SRT_GB » Wed Sep 12, 2007 11:26 am

As I may have mentioned before, last weekend I took my son to meet Mickey Mouse at the Experience Music Project in Seattle. The event was a museum member-exclusive going away party for the Disney music exhibit that they've had for nearly a year (which I highly recommend for any Disney music buffs out there). We waited in line to meet Mickey and get a picture with him, something we would never wait in line for at DLR.

Anyways, shortly after we got our picture with Mickey, the EMP staff and the character host (a nice fellow named Michael from the DLR Entertainment department) announced that Mickey was taking a break and would be right back. One guy who looked like he was in his 40s and was there by himself took major offense to this and stormed out of the building. I guess getting that picture of Mickey Mouse by himself was so important that he had to get it right then and there. For crying out loud, even the children that were waiting in line understood that Mickey would be right back!

I guess impatient character SGs aren't limited to the Disney theme parks....

Starbuck's will do that to you.

Actually Seattle's Best Coffee Co. and Stumptown Coffee are more likely to have that effect on you. Coffee People people are much friendlier.

Maybe he was from Portland and was hoping to get a quick pic before returning to his protest back home.
