Hi, I'm a SG

Post by Sunshine36616 » Wed Sep 05, 2007 7:28 pm

Well, I try to be LESS stupid than the average guest.

Question....I'm going to WDW from December 17 - 23. I have heard that was a good time to go. Now someone mentioned that's when Cheerleaders are there. Oh please for the love of God tell me that's not true.

I did some research (that sets me appart from most SGs, right?) and found that the WCA nationals are the week after we leave. I'm hoping that's what the person was talking about.

Any insight?

I've always thought that the Pop Warner stuff was the first two weeks in December.

If you do a google search for "Pop Warner," I believe they have a web site. On said web site is a list of their national competitions, finals, etc.

Two years ago, my wife and I were at WDW from 12/1 - 12/10. Maybe we got lucky, but we didn't hear or see any cheerleaders until the last day. And by see, all we saw of them was walking around Tomorrowland.

I have heard (and read) that they basically "take over" the All-Star resorts.

Which was why we stayed at AKL the December that we went as a family. ( Well it was not the only reason)

Someone said another Brazillian wave comes in the next couple weeks. Anyone know the veracity of this rumor?

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

If it's true, we at least have the early park closings working for us.

Maybe if we're lucky the Bazillions will come at the same time as the love bugs, and they will be so bothered by them that they won't ever come back.
