Witnessed SGT @ Test Track single rider line

Post by muttlee » Sun Aug 26, 2007 12:57 pm

SG in front of a buddy & me at test track asks CM:

SG " Single Rider line means that I can have a car by myself right?"

CM: "No sir, I'm Sorry it does not"

SG: "But I thought that's what it's supposed mean"

CM: "No, I'm sorry."

SG: slinks away mad

Me & Buddy: "Dumbass" (to ourselves of course)

Just once, I wish someone would call me "Sir" without adding "you're making a scene."

EVERY time I see someone using that line, they cheat. They're usually married with at least one kid. The SG has the wife/husband and kid wait in line and gets in about two people after. Then they try to board all at once. It's hilarious when they're shocked that they're not allowed to sit together! And every time I go, the SG line is the SLOWEST of the lines at TT! Ridiculous! Some people jest need killlin!!

I like the single rider line for the lulz. I always see that happen, it's great! A lot of rides have a single rider greeter just to inform people of this basic fact. It's like anything in life, if it seems really good, ask yourself: "what's the catch?"

It's like SGs on the resort monorail that sit in car 6 (nearest to operating cab on resort side) and poke their head out at each stop to see if the cab is available. I may make 3 loops and bump out and they will still be in car 6 or have given up. The WDW College Program has turned me into a sadistic asshole I think. I don't know how many rude SGs I get a day at the TTC who are about 10 minutes from a reservation at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. "Why is this train taking so long?! We have a reservation in 10 minutes!! How do we get there?!" Keep in mind that the train is running 4 minutes apart at most. By the time they get to MK, find the boat, take it, and then make their way to Pioneer Hall...LOL

I really like it when they are down the ramp and yell toward us, informing us of their reservation. Naturally, assuming that because of this fact, they are more important than everyone else and thus the train must be held and the doors reopened so that they can board. God forbid a seat is not available.

I would love to have this guy on my bus going to Pop during MK Close.

No, sir, the taxi stand is at TTC.

We should at least give him credit for reading a sign.

Yeah, but he still didn't interpret it properly.

You mean we have to INTERPRET things while on vacation?

What good is a vacation if we can't put the majority of our brains on idle. Besides if we all begin to do everything right the first time, and follow every sign correctly, what will we have to discuss here? :D:

I'm looking forward to demonstrating proper brain dead protocol in just over a month. I will be in WDW for several weeks and already have my SGT pin to wear in hopes that this will make meeting some of you easier. The only CM here that I am sure I will recognize on sight is Zazu, and that's because I have known him a lot longer than the rest of you. ;)

(wow, I just got an idea for a new smilie. A "brain dead" zombie walking smilie. I guess I'll have to get to work on that. :) )

Preach on brotha!

I for one would find hilarity if a CM signed up here new to talk about this SG who had a SGT pin on and lived up to it :D:

Sadly, it would not be me. I am way too concerned with doing things the way they are supposed to be done. *sigh*
