Wand removal

Post by BRWombat » Fri Aug 24, 2007 1:43 pm

Not much has been said here about the departure of Epcot's wand, but I caught this CM angle on yesterland.com:
In fairness, it should be pointed out that there were some people who liked the Icon Tower—specifically Disney cast members in Future World who could answer the most common guest question with, “there are rest rooms right by the base of the giant Mickey hand over there.”
:) Any comments?

I, for one, did not like it so I am thrilled it's coming down!

would me saying "i have no opinion" constitute me having an opinion? What a conundrum...I must ponder this a bit (the fact that my not having an opinion being an opinion, not the wand thing, I don't give a shit about that)

I think in honor of Darph and I, they should have a giant Mickey hand holding a pilsner of beer....

If anyone here's good with photoshop, I could think of some things that should be done with a picture of that stupid f-ckin' hand & wand. We should start with the pilsner, and then move on to the hand giving the finger to all the SG's walking in, the hand holding a giant sign that says "There are no bathrooms! We had them all removed!" or, as an alternative, "The monorail to Universal is now boarding! Hurry or you'll miss it!", the hand holding up a dollar bill (yeah, I know, I can be deep at times...), and to get really tricky: the hand turned upside down with the rest of mickey breakdancing on top of it! I could go on and on, but I'll give someone else a turn...

{In the interest of full disclosure: I freakin' hated that damned hand. The only thing worse is that stupid hat at MGM/DHS/[Insert what you wanna call the park here]}

Out of curiosity, could I get you to share your assumptions about my gender and sexual identity? (You kinda did already, but I'm just looking for clarification...)

I think you are female (you are farrrr too witty to be male...lol) and not sure of your sexual identitiy, as that really doesn't matter to me when talking to a person. I could care less if someone is gay/straight/trans, ect. My responses to you would still be the same. But I'm pretty sure you are female. I have yet to meet a male as witty as you (besides Ktulu, but, he doesn't count, he's a texan, lol)

NO offense guys!!! I'm kidding

I just assumed with all of the posts I've read from you that you are female. How embarrassed will I be if you're not???? That still wouldn't give me reason to leave my hubby for you though, can i see a W2? lol

Well, I've been told I'm somewhat effeminate (probably comes from being raised mostly by my mother and sister) but I actually am male. (And good answer about someone's sexual identity not mattering, but I do happen to be straight) As far as seeing last year's W2? Well, dear, I'd let you, but I'm in the IT field in the big city so my W2's probably too heavy for you to lift with all the ink they put in all those figures!

But hey, I don't wanna get up on your husbands territory. If, however, you do decide you want some time away from the old man, I'd definitely be interested in touching your neatly trimmed pussy. I'll let you pet my...uhh...dog. Her name is Kwahati.

( :fsm: help me! I think I'm having an identity crisis now... Maybe I should change my Sig line to a quote from Red vs. Blue: "Exactly, I'm a gay robot.")

No, he ruined the moment. I figured as long as I was in college, I could experiment and it would be ok. I watch late night infomercials, I know these things.

Now that I know he's male, well, that just screws everything up cause although I could convince my hubby to videotape the chick/chick thing (he's oriental, he's got the camera and would be all into that), the me/male thing wouldn't be so easy.

Damn this whole happily married thing. I think in my next life I am going to marry someone I don't really like and not worry about screwing around.

Unless I come back as a marcupial....do they mate for life????
