Your perfect Disney Day

Post by ICStupidPeople » Sat Aug 11, 2007 6:04 pm

Hey all,

If you could have a "perfect" day at disneyland (not WDW for purpose of this study), what would it consist of?

No ideas are too out of bounds for this thread (other than strippers and midgets Darph..and minnie licking body shots off of you..let's keep it G rated..hehe)

Mine may be starting off by riding the train with Mickey, then walking down main street with some characters, having breakfast with them and getting to ride a couple of my favorite rides with them and the bubble ladies...

Then maybe lunch at Blue Bayou..a private tour during the busy hours of the day, then watching the fireworks with the characters, then off to Grand Californian for a "beverage" and bed.

I realize mine is a bit extreme, but I am interested to hear things that some people would like to do that maybe they've never had a chance to do

there is a method to my madness, but I can't say why I'm asking this, but it's a study of sorts, so ideas are always welcome

OOOH, I LOVE the way you did this. ;) Since I'm not a stripper I qualify to input. :) The Character Breakfast is perfect! The GC is a beautiful hotel but if I were only going to visit DL think I'd opt for a hotel near the Monorail & overlooking beloved DL. I'd also want a new DL shirt & those glow roses ODV sells. Maybe only 1, or a red & white would be thoughtful. May have more ideas later. This is for your Sociology class paper, right? ;) darph, no beer posts here, so shut up. :p:

Perfect day at Disneyland... Hmmm.

I'd start out with the Minnie and Friends Character Breakfast at Plaza Inn. (Sorry I am biased about that.)

Ride some rides. See some characters here and there around the park. Both Parades (Yep I love the parades)
Lunch would be before the parades probably Blue Bayou or Rancho and Dinner would be those locations too. Somewhere during the day I'd get a snack at Blue Ribbon Bakery or Gibson Girl (Hi Guys n Gals over there :) )

My day would end watching the fireworks and then going home.

Partial Guest List for Minnie and Friends Character Breakfast Disneyland Plaza Inn :minnie: :eeyore: :hook: :pooh: :tigger: :fairymom:

I am at Rancho Del Zocalo. OLE~!

Ok, so i was going to leave a long and extravagant post about my ideal day in wdw. Then i read the note in the first post. I'm just gonna non-chalantly sneak on over to the wdw boards and start this topic there.

Early in the day I would meet with Management at Disneyland.

They would say they are sorry and have wiped my history clean. They would say that they now have evidence that the people I complained about were evil and stealing from the park.

Then they would give me a 4 night stay at the Grand Califonian, $25,000 disney dollars, and a premium annual pass with S on it that does not end for 10 years. They would give me a gift bag full of goodies with lots of pins and stuff. I would sign the release form and try to stop crying.

I would leave and then go to the park and rent an ECV and buy a camera. I would cry and cry and cry and be happy to be home. I would buy pins at the Emporium, pick up a GAC at city hall and go see Pooh and Splash Mountain. Not much time as I would have to run to the Grand Floridian and check in. I would then drive home and get mother. Call a friend to watch the place and get back to the park by 5:30 and take mom into the park for dinner at the Blue Bayou. I would see if she wanted to see the new Pooh ride then Fantasmic. If not then waddle back to the hotel while shopping.

I would make sure I got an empty shopping bag and put 4 boxes of popcorn as I miss that so much. I would get balloons and candy. I would return to the room and sleep happy as can be with my belly full of popcorn and a plush toy to snug. do they make pajamas in my size?

That is my ideal day at Disneyland.

HAHAHA, you read my mind. :D:

My ideal day is arrive before opening and greeted by a Dream Squad CM and given free dream Passes for the day. We have breakfast the Plaza Inn with the characters.

We ride the rides with no wait at all, front row all the way!! I am greeted by my managers and told that accusations against me has been dropped. They found out that the CM that accused me was a major liar and as a result, wiped my history clean and I cam come back immediately.

For lunch, we go to the Blue Bayou where are meals are comped for a mistake that was made.

We go ride more rides. We are approached to be the Grand Marshall of the parade with a four day and three nights at the Mickey Mouse Suite.

For dinner, we are invited by the TDA suit to Club 33.

We watch Fantasmic! from the VIP desert buffet section.

That will end my ideal day at Disneyland!! :p:

Attractions:
Rocket Scientist at "HISTA"/ Astro Orbitor,
Space Ranger at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

hmmmmmmmmm....a perfect day at disneyland, eh? :mickey: maybe it would be to stay at a hotel there so i could get up and go to the park early (i know there are times they let guests who stay at the hotels in an hour before the other guests into some of the lands...we used to get there early enough to be up against the velvety rope at the end of main st. to hear walt's dedication :walt: ...sure do miss hearing that) without having to get up at the crack of dawn to drive down there :driver: ...a free locker for the day (even with a room close by i wouldn't want to have to leave the park to get something small)...free munchies (though i don't often munch)...a really nice lunch or dinner at the blue bayou :eat: (in all the time it's been open i've eaten there twice...once in 1967 when it first opened and again a couple of years ago)... being able to go back to the room every now and then to rest the feet and back...having a great place to see the fireworks from in front of the castle without having to start waiting there at 6:30-7pm (this is a stopper for some of the people i go to the park with...but i'm hoping to see them just one time like this before the end of summer), i (well, we, cuz i know elyse would love to see it too) would love to see some of the behind the scenes stuff (like in the haunted mansion...the ballroom scene...i would love to see the real figures under the track...how cool it would be to see some of the dark rides with the lights on...it wouldn't spoil it for me in the least...peter pan looked so odd with the lights on, but didn't spoil the illusion once the lights were off, or how about a walk through pirates?)... seeing all my cm friends there (even without everything else just seeing my friends there make it a great day)...being able to bring MORE than enough bubbles to hand out (we never seem to have enough :( )...and at the end of the night being able to go back to the hotel and not have to worry about driving home  (do they have any rooms with jacuzzis :hottub: in them?)...then maybe getting up in the morning and going to disneyland again for at least a little while (ok ok...so it's more than one day, but i've never gone to dl, gone to a hotel there, spent the night and gotten up the next day and gone to dl again :o: ...that's what happens when you live only 35-40 miles away from the happiest place on earth ]

oh, and one more thing (if i dare - DARE DARE)...to be able to have one day when i (and all the rest of us who do) could smoke without having to crowd into one of the 3 tiny spots for smokers (where there are too few places to sit and hardly room to stand)...where i could walk around and smoke (i don't smoke a lot anymore) like we used to be able to...wouldn't walt be surprised to find that he would be segregated into a tiny area to smoke in a place he created?
