so i clicked the link and ended up reading the site... it was decently funny. I enjoyed the traffic page because it is true, Florida drivers are worse than any other state - even New York...

No, the worst drivers in the U.S. of A. are the tourists that visit Cape Cod, MA. They make drivers in Orlando and on I4 in general look like saints.

You just have to trust me on this one.

HA! You haven't experienced a challenging drive till you have driven the beltways/loops in Houston, TX. They have ppl from all over the world there(one school has 27 diff countries represented). So you get folks who have never driven in the U.S.A. before trying to navigate thru 8 lanes of traffic. Scary ride yet fun as you never get bored.

Well I suppose its a bad thing considering the industry that we all work in,detracting tourism and all, but then again its just so funny. Are people taking this site to seriously?
Never will you want to strangle someone more than when you wake up at 3am to the sound of a very loud weed whacker.. oh wait, that isn't a weed whacker it's an 84 Honda Civic and obviously it needed a tune up before the crack of dawn

That made me laugh out loud...although maybe I shouldn't be talking considering some of the cars I have driven. I have always wondering if Florida as so many weird cars because we don't require auto inspections.

Bah, Houston traffic is easy. So far the worst traffic has been Southern California for me. Traffic for NO reason. I passed a girl who was driving less than the speed limit at one point, and I got the finger! I didn't tailgate her, used by signal and didn't get close at all when I got in front of her.

Maui is the worst. The locals demonstrate their complete ignorance of the laws of physics. The tourists, apparently, have never seen an ocean before. Throw in a few whales or spinner dolphins and traffic grinds to a halt for hours.

I believe the whales come close to shore to see how many rear enders and t-bones they can cause. If you put your head under water you can hear them laughing.

Having seen this myself, I think Hobie wins. If you have never been on the Road to Hana, you've never truly taken your own life in your hands. You're safer parachuting if you're not completely sure who repacked your chute.

I've gotta go with California in general, lucky she only flipped you off and didnt point a gun at you, or take a pot shot at you. San Diego is the worse, no only cant people drive, merge, yield but there are signs warning you to be aware of illegals crossing the freeways. Here you can get your drivers test in just about any language or have someone translate for you. We have a high population of foreneners plus the tourist crowd.

But back to my original question, I read the section on tourist tips, he makes it sound like Orlando is the only place in the country this sort of stuff goes on. It was kinda funny, but its so true for many places. At the end he says CM's are making fun of the tourists and has a link here.
