Gambling Coming To DL

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Uh oh, Disney probably isnt gonna like that, especially with their current crusade to control all of Anaheim.
I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it.

Eh... looking at the article, you see it's a group with no land, no money, and which is not even a federally-recognized Indian tribe -- and one where there is a lawsuit in progress to sort out an internal dispute about tribe leadership. Too many hurdles to overcome.
However, if they have the mayor or some council members on board, something like this (from another tribe) is a definite possibility down the road.

I agree with Wombat. Tongva and the local Los Angeles area Native Americans have little or no political clout.
