you aren't Buzz Lightyear!

Post by Flame » Fri Jul 20, 2007 6:47 am

a few days ago, i was on the flat escalator (i can't remember it's actual name) where you enter the People Mover.

on it there was a kid about 12/13 years old with his right hand on his hip, and his left hand pointing up in the air, and he stayed like the whole time he was on the escalator (which was about a minute). i turned to my parents, and we all had a "wtf?" look on our face. Magic Kingdom seems to bring out the weirdest crowd. -_-

Could be weirdness, or he could just be toying with people, just to catch their reactions. A favorite of mine is to stand in one spot, staring intently at a fixed spot in the sky, looking concerned. You'd be surprised how quickly a crowd gathers and joins you -- and how long until someone finally says, "What are we looking at?"

But then, maybe I'm just weird, too. :break:

It could have been a dare by a friend or the kid was disabled. By now you should yawn and carry on with life when you see things like that. It is amazing what people do when they think nobody is watching.

Sounds like a kid being dorky and having fun. No harm done. Gotta try the sky thing though. Ever try running out of a building and yelling "RUN!!" as you do it?

The other way to do the sky thing is looking up a really tall building. I used to do that one back in Portland. There, it was fun because you had time to walk off before anyone would ask. It was great, for that reason, to live in an artsy-fartsy city. I bet some of them had spiritual experiences from it.

As are you exiting AK, yell "RUN! They are all loose!" And see how many SG's that are heading toward the entrance turn around.
