World parking question
I'm going to be going to the world in a few days, and I just realized I've never rented a car while there! My main quesiton is, if I am a Cast Member from CA, should I hit the ATM before going to the parking gates, or will my Disneyland ID get me CM discounted (aka free) parking at the World?

Re: World parking question
What does your Cast ID look like? Is it a yellow, red or blue badge with your picture on the left and a barcode at the bottom? If so, you're in for parking, as they really don't seem to look all that closely. However, you could call 407-WDW-CAST and ask to be sure.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Chip, pack your DLR parking lot hang tag to use with your security I D. A few CM groups from DCA did this last yr. They said it worked. Maybe Polar could answer your question. Good luck & have a great time at WDW.Oasis Chipmunk wrote:if I am a Cast Member from CA, should I hit the ATM before going to the parking gates, or will my Disneyland ID get me CM discounted (aka free) parking at the World?

Does DLR have the equivilent of a WDW maingate pass? If so, that is enough for free parking.
I'll guess that your DLR ID is enough but I'm not sure either.

Yeah... this year they converted our Main Gate passes to the hard plastic kind that WDW's been using for a few years now. So if that's all I need, here's hoping :)Cranbiz wrote:Does DLR have the equivilent of a WDW maingate pass? If so, that is enough for free parking.

Oh, and our ID's look different from the WDW ones. Ours are yellow/red/whatever color, but the front only has a background image of Sleeping Beauty Castle, a color picture of ourself, the current years' sticker, and our name. The backside has our barcode, discount code, department number, personnel number and hire date.

Re: World parking question
Last year I was able to park free at DL with my WDW Cast ID. No problem at all.

I think our maingate passes are all the same, and the parking people, upon seeing that, will pretty much let you right on through with a wave.
