Does anybody else feel behind?
I know this is a bizzare question, but does anybody here ever feel behind everyone else?
When I worked at Astroland (Yes, I quit!) I always felt like I was doing some thing wrong, and that everyone around me was doing better. I would constantly be yelled at by my supervisor (though he would go and smoke in front of guests and steel DVD's from the old chinse woman selling Boot legs) for not doing my job fast enough, and then getting threatend by moving too fast! When I'd operate (Yes, my game had a big control panel E-Stop and all, and we actually operated), something would go wrong most of the time (usually do to the weather) and I'd get yelled at! I felt very...stupid I guess would be the word. And then when they moved me to the Arcade Booth, I felt better.
At the Zoo, (Still there) I feel like I don't know enough, like everyone else. Even though I've never given wrong infromation (unless it was about moving an animal and my sups gave me wrong information). But I'll see my co-workers being trained on different animals (my bf Mike is almost trained on every Reptile, while the longer docents are trained on a few animals). But because of issues, I've never been officially trained on any animal. The closest was a crash course on my Fire Skink (who gives me warts on my right hand).
So, does anyone else feel like they are out of the game at there park (or job)?

Life is that way. I feel out of sync in church, online, at former jobs, clubs, and everywhere. That is because some people form pecking orders, some are there only to make others feel small, some do not know they are hurting people and others are prejudiced in some way. The prejudice could be something silly like a person's name, hair colour, or mannerisms.
I even at times feel it here but I have learned that you must keep going on and do the best you can while looking for ways to improve yourself.
Hugs and warm fuzzy thoughts to you.

Okay, now you really have made me paranoid. I feel so far behind and out of it I am not sure I will ever get a grip. Of course I do have an excuse, I started a new job June 1st. Working for a senior psychologist at the local prison, ya think I am going to loose touch with reality? :twisted:BRWombat wrote:To quote Douglas Adams: "That's just perfectly normal paranoia. One of my neighbors is a retired psychologist from the Californoa penal system. He has some very interesting stories. You may be in for a larger dose of reality than you bargained for. Whatever happens, don't take the job home!Rosie wrote:Working for a senior psychologist at the local prison, ya think I am going to loose touch with reality?

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Hmmm. You say you don't feel left behind but you have yourself titled as "Cheif pooper scooper".
There is a joke in there, somewhere. :D:

Don't worry about it. Yes, you are still behind. However, you are still in High School. And you are really far ahead of a lot of kids your own age.
Also think about Morgan trying to keep up with Aiden (for those not in the family, an eight year old girl trying to do almost everything her 12 year old brother can do).

Thanks guys. Now I know I'm not alone and very nirodic!
^Uncle Mike, I understand what you meen. But think about Savannah trying to catch up with me and Anthony. You don't know how much she thinks and acts like she's 17. (BTW: Savannah is my 11 year old (almost 12) sister while my brother Anthony and I are 17)
