The CM Commandments

Post by DLRFantasmic!Dan » Fri Jun 15, 2007 12:44 pm

I did not write this:
I am a Cast Member.

I am here to create magic. I am not here to be yelled at.

I am here to help you with your inconveniences. I am not here to be a scapegoat or a punching bag.

I am here to help put that sparkle in your child's eyes. I am not here to get your child to the front of the line, nor do I wish to hear your complaints because I can't do so.

I am here to provide 100% excellent service to my Guests, and when something goes wrong, to do my best to right it. I am not here to be screamed at when you spill your drink on the floor - relax, I'll replace it.

I am here to get you through the line as soon as possible. Don't yell at me because you've been waiting 5 minutes for your pizza and chicken strips - we're doing the best we can to serve you.

I'm here to make you smile. Don't complain to City Hall because I'm not smiling every second of the day - I take my job very seriously, and if something goes wrong in your day, my only concern is to make it up to you.

I am here to help you. I am not a bondman, chattel, helot, serf, mancipium, thrall, vassal, ament, feeb, half-wit, lockhead, cretin, dunce, or moron. I am not here to be treated like one.

I am a Cast Member - I do what I do because I get to do what I do for Guests like yourself. Please be a good Guest, and I'll quadruple your efforts in my output. I love what I do, and I want you to notice.

That is very well written. I wish I knew who wrote it for when I pass it on.

Aint that the friggin truth.
It's not OUR fault the ride broke down/or is down for refreb.
It's not OUR fault you live sooo far away. (hear this all the time at work)
Why does a 'lack' of planning on your part, constitute an emergency,on our part?

Had one of those tonight.

SG who allows 5 minutes to get from MK to Wilderness Logde for dinner. She gets pissed because I'm not leaving the LZ fast enough (I had just broke the driver so I had my pretrip stuff to do), Then 2 ECV's arrive and the other driver and I load them, Now SG is really pissed. She goes to me, you have to hurry, we are late for our dinner reservations. I tell her, nope, I drive the speed limit in this. It's for everyone's safety. The bus is now ready to leave and off we go. When we get to WL, she proceeds to rant about how late they are, how I should not have loaded the ECV's, How I have ruined their meal.

I'm pissed at her. I go so, I should do the same thing to you as you want me to have done to the ECV's. Just because they weren't here first means they cant ride. Now my bus number is 4865, my name is Bob and when you complain to a manager, please don't leave out the part where I made you 20 minutes late for dinner when I spent less than 10 minutes loading the 2 guests in ECV's. And while you are with him, you can also add that I caused you even more delays because I would not break any traffic laws to get you here faster and that I detained you another 5 minutes by listening to you attempting to chew me a new one because you did not plan properly.

Want to bet that this does not go any further. She was speechless and just kind of walked away.

Darph, I would have just handed him my nametag and said, "You asked for it, You got it"

Darph,

Correct me if I'm wrong. Wall, I believe that Darph was leaving that job on his own accord when Mr.SG wanted to take Darph's job.

At least that's how I read it.
