As I was riding Spaceship Earth today, I noticed a sign I'd never seen before. It was below the video monitor just as you leave the boarding platform for the upramp:
Guests who do not obey ride instructions will be asked to leave the park.
How cool is that? I mean, not even "may be asked" but "*will* be asked"!
We need to get these installed on every other attraction on the planet *now*!

Too bad it didn't say "Will be TOLD to leave the park" or "Will be ESCORTED from the park".

Signs should read "Behave or we'll kick your sorry rear ends out of this magical world"

They apparently do not want guests freaking out with fear so they politely worded the sign.
"Verbally abusing CMs will get you a free trip out of the park. No refunds and no return trips for life."
I doubt this will have much impact on the bullies who shove, yell and threaten their way through life. I doubt it will affect the guests who cannot or choose to not read signs.

Sad to say churchy, you could have a sign with 12" tall letters, and they still wouldn't 'get' it. B/C the sign didn't have 'their' names on it. :(

True, Churchy, true... but alas, nowadays it seems that signs are made primarily for the lawyers. We can't expect SG's to read (or if they do, to comprehend), so the signs are there to point to afterwards -- as in, "This is why we kicked your sorry client's butt out of the park. If they had read and obeyed, they wouldn't have been in trouble."
"This would be a great place if we could only get rid of all these people." - Walt Disney

Exactly. My church has to put a Power Point slide up on the screen just before our Reverend begins to preach that says, "Please turn off cell phones and pagers, or place them in silent mode." Do you think that people would actually do that ? Do you think that I see people actually reaching to their belts or purses to turn their phones off ?

unfortunately the people who those signs actually apply to are of the opinion that the signs apply to everyone BUT them.

I've seen that sign on other attractions in Epcot (Living with the Land comes to mind). I think that we need it at every attraction unfortunately.
"Where is 21?"
