Damn, but I wish I could go, LDC. I love A Christmas Story, and can't wait for Christmas Eve to watch it at least two to three times. Unfortunately, Purpura and I will be at the Christmas Party tonight... :(

For those of you in Florida, a theater group from Celebration is going to put on a stage production of "A Christmas Story" in Kissimmee. I will post details when they are released, but I do know it will feature an authentic Red Ryder BB gun because my neighbor is loaning it.
I borrow it a couple of years ago when my house was on the Holiday Home Tour in Celebration. You can see it in my blog (follow the photo link):

My wife bought me a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas a few years ago.. I did have it over the fireplace on a gun rack, until she made me take it down. WE put it back up for Christmas every year!

You know, I don't think I've ever seen Christmas Story the whole way through... Sad, eh? I think I'll have to adjust that this year. Kinda like how I've now seen Blazing Saddles...
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Every year at Christmas, a TV station in Los Angeles (KTLA?) playes "a Christmas Story" for 24 hours, back to back! And it is hosted by Ralphie! (Grown up, of course!) Last year they had other former cast members make comments and were interviewed. Tooo cool.

Like Big Wall,I don't believe I have seen it all the way through. We have it here on DVD, so I will have to sit my butt down and watch the whole thing. I do that with a lot of movies, only see part of them...I will watch the movie ALL THE WAY through this year!!! Maybe when we are down there at Christmas I will watch it on KTLA!!!! YAY!!!!
We have made ressies to do Christmas at Disneyland again this year! We did it last year, but that is when I was so sick, so we are going to try again. Dec. 20th-27th at the DL Hotel...Hope I will get to meet some of the CMs that work there, and I hope to see the Bubble Ladies this year!!!! But, let's just get past Halloween and Thanksgiving first... :D:
