Hi All

Post by MacFarc » Thu Nov 16, 2006 1:54 am

Hi guys

Managed to stumble on this site while looking at info for the SM:Mission 2 ride at Euro Disney.

I couldn't stop laughing at some of the stories on here.
My brother used to work at WDW, I gotta forward this link onto him.

I havent had the pleasure of working at a Disney park yet, thou I would like to do a gap year at DLP.
Not sure why, just always fancied doing it.

I've been to DLP once and going back again for Christmas this year.

I once had a Stupid Guest story myself when I rode Space Mountain for the first time.
I was 16 and my Mum took me to DLP on holiday for a week.
I was young, and stupid and didnt tie my shoe laces correctly on my trainers.
Half way through the ride my left trainer flow off into the darkness.
Understable, my Mum went stir crazy at me for only taking one pair of trainers with me.

A CM (sorry not sure what a CM is) on Space Mountain told my Mum we would have to come back after 11pm to get my trainer, but he gave me a brand new, not yet used pair of Doc Marten Boots.
These boots where one of the managers boots who had only just brought them that day.

I got my mangled trainer back after 11pm :)

Whoever that CM was if he is reading this - Thank You!

Hi MacFarc -- loved the story! You'll find a handful of other guests here who, like us, get the privilege of hanging out with all of these cool people and reading their funny stories.

Welcome!!! :welcome:

Hi and thanks for the welcome to the site :) Its nice to fell welcomed.

DLRFan - I'm off to Euro Disney in 5 weeks, I'm going to see if I can find the guys (if he is still there) Since I'm not 16 anymore and I'm a lot older I would like to give him something to say thank you to him.

It was extremely nice of them to give me the Doc Martens, I was extremely grateful.

I know he works on SM so thats where I'm going to ask about him, I remember what he looks like just not his name.

I'm rather excited about riding Space Mountain: Mission 2. I loved the first SM, so I'm trying not to build my hopes to much about SM:2 because I'll be deverstated if its not as good as the first!!!!!

Right well I'm going to read the rest of this board, its fantastic! :)

Again, thanks for the welcomes :D:

What's wrong with kilts!
