I'm a mom, so don't think I have no sympathy for parents. My kids are grown now, but I wouldn't ever have considered changing a poopy diaper in public![/font]
NO WAY!!!! EEeeeewwwww :barf:
I have always said that parents should not change a diper (wet or dirty) in public. 99% of all public resrooms have changing tables installed. There is no need to lay your baby on the park bench (that has 1000's of germs anyways) and let the word see what is in the dipper. NO tto mention what are the chances that a petifile could be walking by.
On the same note. I also don't agree with women that just flop their tits out to breast feed out in the open. Eaither pump and bottle some milk or go to a private place (like a restroom) and sit for a few moments and feed.
~end rant~

Agree completely.

Disagree completely.
This isn't the same note. Input <> output.
Breastfeeding is also protected by law in Florida, and harassing a breastfeeding mother here can get you in legal trouble.
I had one guest ask me to call the police because a mother was breastfeeding in the Park. I advised him against it as *he* would have been the one talking to the law.
As for feeding a baby in a public restroom, when was the last time *you* had lunch in one? Talk about gross!

On the breastfeeding issue...it's the same in California, protected by law and I agree with Zazu that women shouldn't have to feed in the public restroom. However, there is still a time and place for it, sit on a bench for a bit and at least attempt to cover, sometimes the baby will move a blanket or whatever, and that's understandable, but at least attempt covering so that other families with young children don't have to explain something that the parents are not ready to explain. Also, think about all the boys who have just hit puberty that are in the park, it's probably better for all involved if there aren't breasts hanging out in front of them. One of my biggest complaints about the breastfeeding thing is women who just plop it out and start feeding anywhere, like for example, on my boat. The Storybook boats are relatively small and close quarters and these just plop their breast out and start feeding, it's also a relatively short ride so if the baby is hungry he/she can probably wait the 7 min. the ride takes.
Anyway, that's my rant on breastfeeding.

That's why Disney have Baby Care Centers!! They should use that instead of being in public view.

I didn't mean to actualy use the restroom. I menat there should be a place LIKE a restroom for breast feeding. Where a mother can go into a private stall and flop her tits out.
But the point is still there that it's not hard to pump milk and put it in a bottle to use in public.

There should be limits like not breast feeding on rides. For those who say that moms should use the Baby Center then you drag the kids around the park then back to one spot every couple hours. It is rude though if people do this in public with no modesty and please do not say it is other cultures. What about the men whose religious views prohibit them from viewing other women as well as minor boys? Junior cannot go to a strip club but he can go to the amusement park and watch them hooters. I do not care much but have known people who are repulsed by breastfeeding.
Another division in the park, pro-breastfeeding and anti-breastfeeding.

Ah, but the real question is whether they should breastfeed while standing up or sitting down :p:
Aside, I do agree that there should be some modesty. Some of our younger guests may not be mature enough to understand it. You can do it in the open, but be respectful of others; don't pull it out in a heavily trafficed area in respect for others who may not wish to see that.

Why not have several in the park, like one in each area. A good enough walking distance to get to.

One of the best things about breastfeeding is that you do not have to use a bottle. My youngest daughter would not take a bottle until she was nine months old. What do you suggest I should have done with her, stay inside and hide? Pumping can be a hassle, and most of the time the milk from pumping is frozen for a time when the mother is not present.
Now don't think that I am someone who exposed for all the world to see. I usually tried to find some out of the way place where there were few people. I would also pull my stroller in front of me so it was harder to see my torso area. At times if there was a store with a lounge area in the bathroom, that is a good place to go. For really tight quarters like an airplane I would try to use a bottle because that made me & others feel uncomfortable.
