west coast meet
All of this talk of an east coast meet makes me think that we should have one here. Maybe we could even schedule them at the same time and if one person on each coast has a laptop and IM we could even say hi to each other.
Anyway, I don't really care if it's in park or out of park, although I am somewhat limited in what I can do in both areas, (if you must know why, PM me, I don't want to publicly post it) I'm up for pretty much anything.
I think before Thanksgiving would be best, but we still have a week or two after when it's not busy yet.
For that matter, when are CMs planning on going to the Holiday Party? Some of us could get together then. My hubby and I will be going on whichever night is not a Tuesday or Thursday. (I don't remember the dates of the top of my head)

Re: west coast meet
we tried coordinating the web cam thing before. gotta find a place that has booze and internet access!
"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

I'm up for that! Just give Jack and I some ample time to ask for a day off at our jobs, okay?

Does Dave and Buster's have internet access? I know they have booze, and still things to do for those who don't want booze, besides of course laughing at the ones who get really drunk. If we could do it on an evening during the week it'd be a lot less crowded, and possibly cheaper for drinks, etc.

Mix-In: Sunday, Nov. 26
Private Party: Monday, Dec. 4 and Tuesday, Dec. 5
Ticket distribution begins Nov. 8 at all TEAM Centers. Perhaps this will help plan M & G.

Well hubby and I will be going on the 4th, because he has to be home by midnight on Tuesday nights (some online thing) and that would mean we'd have to leave early which would be no fun...but if a lot of you are going on the 5th, I could probably work and you all could come find me and harass me. :)

No, just called over there & asked. They also had no suggestions. Darn. :mad:lady ulrike wrote:Does Dave and Buster's have internet access?

With respect, I have a cell phone (Razr) that can work as a cellular modem with just a $5 cable. Perhaps others do too?Main Streeter wrote:No, just called over there & asked. They also had no suggestions. Darn.
