Revenge - Served Hot with Creamer

Post by Zazu » Tue Oct 10, 2006 10:09 pm

True story:

I was just lifting my coffee cup for the first sip of the day when the SG next to me turned around and smacked me in the elbow with his backpack, throwing coffee all over my shirt, pants, breakfast, and the guy next to me.

Did he apologize? He did not.

Did he offer to buy me another cup? He did not.

Did he get his big stupid backpack out of my face? He did not, he left it hanging there, inches from my nose.

So close, in fact, that I was able to notice that the flap on the top of his pack was untied even through my coffee-splattered glasses.

I just couldn't help myself. I lifted the flap and emptied what was left of my coffee into his backpack and gently lowered the flap.

"Tell me you didn't do what you just did," demanded the server when I signalled for another cup.

"I'm afraid I did," I admitted, "But I didn't have any choice! It was the only way I could correct the karma imbalance he created."

You know, it's not easy to make a Cafe Mocca when you have a severe case of the giggles.

When she finally delivered most of a fresh cup, I offered her a card. "Oh no," she said, "This one is *definitely* on me!"

"I know," I replied, "This isn't a credit card."

You know, it's not easy to make a Cafe Mocca when you have a severe case of the giggles and an SGT card in one hand.

Excuse me, could we run the playback on this one? "And here Steve, you can see where Zazu fills the SG's backpack with an off brand of coffee. Let's see if he notices." :p: :p: :p: I love this!

To borrow from Airplane: "That's odd. He doesn't normally have a second cup of coffee in his backpack..."

Too funny, Zazu. :D:

If I didn't want to share the story, I shouldn't have posted it here. Duh!

Nope, it was an espresso cart in one of the theme parks.
