Way the hell off topic: "Born to be Wild"

Post by CujoSR » Thu Sep 14, 2006 9:27 pm

So I am in the SCA (medieval recreation). One of the groups I am attached to is called the Hounds of Caid. Our primary focus in this group is to study a dogs role in Medieval society. It is just another reason to try Lure Coursing, Recreating what was known as the "Queen's Sport." I put together a video to be put on their website but I wanted you all to see it too.

"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

Haha! That's pretty cool! If dog racing were like that I'd totally be into it! .... untill I lost all my money...

That's totally not medieval music. :p:

I think this is what we should do with all those kids on Heelies. Except do it on some slippery surface. HA! That would be hilarious!

CujoSR,

I miss the SCA... it's been a good 18 years for me. Formerly of Kingdom of Trimaris, shires of Oldenfeld (now a barony) and Sea March.

Never went to Pennsic, though, dammit. ;)

The kids at the site i moderate would love that video. Asking permission.

Zazu has not posted anything witty so here goes.

How about that system but use money, disney toys, food and other things that stupid guest chase. I think the video would be funnier if it was Epcot and a guest was chasing after something. Anyone else got ideas?

That reminds me, I need to get in contact with the Scribe Armarius and get my AoA scroll (I'm finally out of the backlog.) Still, it would be easier if Purpura and I could get to events more often.
