BTW the subject has nothing to do with the story.
I was talking with another CM backstage about a year after DCA opened. this guy was on the opening crew with me. At msome point in the conversation he metions "The Souvenir Itch" store in The Hollywood Backlot and thought it was a great name for a store. Play off of the Marylin Monroe movie "The Seven Year Itch"(gotta love those puns at DCA).
At this point I was a little confused so I had Asked him where it was. he said right next to Award Wieners.
"Umm... The only thing next to Award Wieners is "Gone Hollywood."
"NO. IT'S RIGHT THERE!!!"
I'm sure you understand where I am getting to by now, but for those who don't let me explain. He was so sure of himself and determined to make me beleive that I ended up going to look for myself and lo and behold there was a nice big sign and window saying "Souviner Itch," too bad the other side was the line for Muppets 3D!!! :bang: :throw:
It was a facade
Look Laura, A moth!!!
"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."
