Stupid Guest Tricks

Sometimes working at a theme park is very confusing. Especially when guests use their own terminology to describe attractions.

The names with a * next to it is used in another attraction.

The Ellen DeGenerous Ride, The Energy Ride, Number 3, The Dinosaur Ride* (which is confusing because there is a ride called Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom), Dinosaur, The Energy Thing


Mission :Space

The only one i have is the Matterhorn at Disneyland. I heard a guest ask a cast member how to get to Magic Mountain. Guest was puzzled when the cast member started telling the guest to get on the freeway and head north. For some reason guests call it the mountain or magic mountain.

UPDATE FOR SPACESHIP EARTH

Starship Earth (Quoted by a guest who stared right at the marquee)

Also, the best possible place to hear all of the names is at or near the front of the park. (i.e: Epcot's Spaceship Earth or Legacy area)

My daughters, who are 6 and 4, are just learning the names of the roller coasters as they are just getting tall enough for them. They call Big Thunder Mountain Railroad the Wild Train because at the beginning it tells you to hold onto your hats because its the wildest ride. They have yet to ride California Screamin' because they are to small, but my six year tells everyone she has to grow an inch before she can go on the Mickey Mouse Roller Coaster.

While holding down the floor in front of the Hall of Fame in Toontown at MK, I heard one of those British soccer hooligans ask his kids if they wanted to go see "Princesses, Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore, or Donald and Girl Mickey."

I thought I was going to choke.

Nobody's called Mission Space by Space Mountain?
