Everyone say hello to your new group moderator, Weeble. NOW GET CHATTING!!!!!

"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

I've been telling everyone at work about this site. I tried to do something similar at work but management watches it like a hawk. So I tell people to come here and vent their guest frustrations. When you work a ride that has many downtimes, stories are plentiful.

Well, since i don't know anything at WDW and all my attractions are on the west side of Disneyland, all i can do is give props to my area. Not that we don't love WDW :D I just came back from a trip out there. Great respect for anyone who can work in that weather. Does it rain like that all the time or were we just lucky?

No, the rains stops in early November and doesn't start up again until mid-February.

If there's any part of my job I like less than the few stupid guests, it's wearing a padded polyester vest in a downpour. When it really rains, the places I have to stand can be up to three inches deep in running water, too -- makes it hard to keep one's feet dry.

Overall though, I can't really complain about my costume or the weather. At least, not while parade characters can hear me. Dancing for 45 minutes in the sun wearing a fur suit and head? I don't think so!

Amen brother! I started at DLR in parades in light magic and that was disgusting times I tell you what. It was the El Nino summer too. Dancing in a 25 pound dwarf costume covered in wool is no fun in hot humid weather.
