Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

True... enough that Snopes.com has an entire Disney category link right on their homepage.

The video segment was shot specifically for the SNL skit. It featured Vivid Video porn actress/vintner Savanna Sampson and male model "Dante." There is no actual porn video, AFAIK, called "101 Fellations".

From Wikipedia:
In 1947, during the early years of the Cold War, Walt Disney testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee, and he named a labor union organizer as a communist. Some historians believe that the animosity from the 1941 strike of Disney Studio employees caused him to bear a grudge. His dislike and distrust of unions may have also led to his testimony, although like many in Hollywood who "named names", Disney may have been motivated by simple fear, either of Communist power in Hollywood, or of being blacklisted.

Also from Wikipedia:
Disney's America was a theme park that was to be built by The Walt Disney Company in Haymarket, Virginia. After concept plans were drawn up for the history-based attraction, it became Michael Eisner's pet project, and he even obtained the support of the Virginia Commission on Population Growth and Development.

The plan was withdrawn in September 1994 after Protect Historic America organized national opposition to the park. Protect Historic America's Director Rudy Abramson had selected Shelby Foote, made famous by Ken Burns' Civil War series on PBS, as one of the opposition spokespersons. Local press revealed that the Foote family once owned the land where the park was to be built. Many Haymarket insiders believe this revelation may have finally forced Eisner to withdraw his support.

Regarding Disney's America...

As far as I could tell, I was the only person in the area who was FOR building the theme park. But I digress.

Do you know what happened to the land after Disney decided not to build? They donated it to the Boy Scouts, who are going to break land later this year to build a cub scount camp with bunkhouses shaped like a fort, a castle, a boat, indian teepees, and rocket ships.

Yeah, *that's* preserving history.

Not that I'm bitter.
