What the hell? That's gotta be the lamest thing I have ever seen anyone do.

I would have to say it's not so much lame as presumptuous.

I was fortunate enough to work with people who had been long time cast members and were around while Walt was alive. They had so many wonderful stories about his enthusiasm for the park and genuine appreciation of the cast members. The esteem that he was held in by the people who actually knew him can't be overstated. They also loved him and respected him. As such, I know that people who actually knew Walt would never presume to play at what you're playing at Mr. Fake.

You might think you're being really cute and clever, and that some Annual Passholder might read that and go, "awwwww," but it's cloying, irritating and just plain WRONG. No one can take Walt's place, and it's been proven time and again since December of 1966. Don't play games. If you want people to see your website, say so, and do it like a regular person. People here are always happy to see another Disney related website.

As a side note, I don't ever remember seeing any film of Walt using the word "magic" in the context that some people use it today. From what I was told he simply thanked CM's for their hard work. And no, I'm not holding myself up as the incarnation of the perfect CM. I tried to uphold the standards that Walt set for us, but it wasn't always easy for me. I can think of a handful of CM's like Karen M., Diane W., and Ron V. who still represent exactly what he wanted. Having said that, I continue to have a lot of respect for what he created and accomplished and I resent it when people act as if they somehow can use his name or legacy and twist it for some silly reason.
