CODE TITANIC: Bottomed Out Boats at Small World

Oh, boy! Have I gott a trunk full of dirt for you all about the days I worked at Small World. There have been many incidents involving fat guests and boats and I can recall a few:

A HUGE family comes down the queue and it's obvious that i have to give them their own boat.

Take the WHOLE boat and fill EVERY row of the boat.
So I give instructions to fill ALL of the rows. SO everything goes well until.....all of the boats are stuck and causes a gap. OK, call Facilities and call us 101, tag out and goin into the attraction to find what's wrong. Sure enough, it was the same family I grouped and they are stuck. So, we plcuk them out and we have them wait to the side as we push their boat in the flume and put the remaining passengers on the next boat in an empty row.

After that all goes well for the rest of the day!

Another incident with a huge group! Put them in their own boat adn the sam thing happens. We get an angry member of the family out saying we did a lousy job and they go down to City Hall complain becuase they didn't get to ride when we did offer to let them ride in a different boat! Hell what do you want, people!

Do you existing Small World/Pirates CMs still have this trouble? Whenever boats bottomed out like this I call it, CODE TITANIC! :twisted: :cheshire: :twisted:

I don't work at Disneyland but my boyfriend was there once and that happened to him on small world... dunno if his family one of the ones you're talking about... but ever since then he will not go on the ride ever again. *bugs him about it ;) *
