SGT Disneyland Trip

Post by CBeilby » Fri Oct 14, 2005 1:41 am

Well, unfortunately, I wasn't able to get to join the rest of the group for any rides until literally almost closing time (nearly 9 pm) between working until five, and several missed meets, but some six of us rode Space last thing. I'm not sure who all was there other than myself and Lady Ulrike (didn't get the chance for introductions. :( ) So I'll let those who actually had the day off and were able to make it do a more thorough report. However, I will post this, to show that indeed, we were there.

That was an awesome meet. I was so afraid I was going to be late! I'm not used to morning traffic on the five freeway!!! Then the parking structure! I knew I should have parked in K lot. Anyway Im too tired to type up a trip report but needless to say it was a fun day. I am ruined for storybook I tell you! Ruined!! I can never again go on that ride....well....at least not without hearing perverse things in my head. I tell you disney magic just kept happening all day!

Middle row, on the right. Right behind Lady Ulrike (who has her hand over her face.) It's not all that good a photo (the strobes get you right in the eyes after coming out of the dark ride.)

im front left. i had start myself, didnt meet up til after first ride on space. it was a most enjoyable day and i agree, book will never be the same and jungle was hilarious, i can only imagine how it would have been if we hadnt had to share a boat with tourists. then i got an extra perk, i originally was going to go home early, then called the sitter tlsee if i could stay late and on my way home(10pm) she(mom inlaw) called and said they were sleeping and to pick them up in the morning, so for the first time since my daughter was born 6 weeks ago, i got to sleep for 8 hours in a row, woohoo!! it was wonderful meeting everyone, hope to meet more on the next one(and also on my many visits to come since i finally got a new pass) will be returning next thursday with mom, bro and definitely my 2 yr old, and maybe the baby, depending on both the heat and if i can get a sitter. since i got my package in the mail today(lady ulrike you might want to contact cafe press about your hat!!) my 2 yr ols will be wearing a sgt shirt and if the baby is with us she will have a sgt bib and i will be wearing my pin, of course. if anyone is working next thurs(10/20) ill try to say hi!!
{:
thank you everyone for such a wonderful day!!
