The Castle Goes Gold

Well by now most of you know about the castle getting an overhaul here at WDW, well here is the completed photo.

One is of the massive projection mirror we will use while the other is a full photo of the castle, complete with new stage set up for Cinderellabration.

Also, provided this was the right person I was hearing on the train today (March 12th after the 3pm hour and on), Zazu, you forgot Blackjack and perfection for the games...

Nope, wasn't me. I'm only on trains Wednesdays for now.

Besides, I haven't forgotten Blackjack. I'm just too smart to play it any more.

It doesn't' look like a projection mirror, just a triangle style billboard (so it can change pictures. Maybe I'm wrong, but thats what it looks like to me.

It is but it isn't. I guess I forgot to note that while it was set up for the projection system (Hence the massive size of it), it will be using the slider system (Much like the Billboards use)

The mirror is supposed to cycle through different castles but when I was there for the cast preview of Cinderellabration it had the bottom half of ours and the top of Disneyland's castle.

The system hasn't really been activated yet, hence the half and half of the castles. It should go live within the next week..

By no means am I calling you a liar but how did you see a cast preview of CB when the previews aren't until Apr 4 and 5th? Or was this one of those MK "Cast only" previews?

There was an official MK Cast Only preview on Wed 16 March, and a number of dress rehersals that always seemed to gather a bit of audience, even the ones at 3am.

Lots of opportunities for an enterprising CM to get an early look. :aliens:

Yup, MK cast preview only.

To be honest it was mostly CP's and the part time college students that showed up.

Aside from a couple people that almost tripped and fell it was a great show. Considering that the stage was probably still a little wet from the rain they did an awesome job.

We had a Studios Cast Only preview for LMA but BS.

Damn it, when you say Studios Cast Only, that doesn't include the ENTIRE DAMN WORLD! :mad:

So what exactly is this show? I know its coming from Tokyo but I have no clue what it's about. From what little I've read on it, to me it seems like Surprise Celebration 2.0

It's basically Cinderella being officiall crowned a princess. Which I'm glad their finally doing because for some reason it bothered me that she was included in the whole "Disney Princess" thing but wasn't officially a princess.

The costumes looked great. It's real cute cuz the Fairy Godmother invites princess from far off lands to join in the celebration so you get Aurora and Phillip, Snow White and the Prince, Jasmine and Aladdin, and what was on of the best things was you got Belle and Prince Vincient. The show has absolutely no fur characters.
