But you know what. you all have worked at WDW since you were in dippers so I am sure you all KNOW EVERY THING *roll eyes here*
Pssst... Honda, I'm not a CM, just a guest who knows how camera optics work.

Therefore, Tink would have a sink rate of roughly .07 feet (less than 1 inch) downwards for every foot forwards. Now, granted, I'm no physicist, but it seems to me like you'd need a much greater amount of downward momentum in order to overcome friction and move that far forwards.

The castle can remain the SAME height, as can the train station. the train station is MUCH lower the the castle. I don't understand why you people seem to grasp that. And no I am not talking about the "forced perspective" the actual building is tall enough to run a wire from the window to the window of the station and have enough of a drop angle to run the zip pulley and not have any problem making it to the end.
As has already been pointed out, the Train Station is not "Much Lower" than the Castle. Even less so, considering that we're using the Castle Height of 189 feet, which is actually the top point of the tallest spire, quite a bit higher up the Castle than where Tink takes off from.
If you have anything to back yourself up with, now would be the time to post it. I'm talking about actual numbers, not just capitalized words scattered throughout your post. Believe it or not, some of us here may actually know what we're talking about.

I would like to think that people smarter than I considered all the possible places that Tink could land and this is the best spot.

Actually, using your own picture that you say you took with no zoom and therefore (in your words) equal to the naked eye, I can tell it's a person, in fact, if that is how she looks (and it's been years since I've seen her fly at WDW) I think it's almost better than at DL since she looks small enough to be an actual pixie, but I can clearly see wings and a body below those wings. Then there's a dark part, with a dot of light below, maybe that's what you're looking at, that dot of light that is probably her foot? If I knew how to edit photos and such, I'd mark it on the photo, but oh well.

And I don't know what you fine people are talking about...wires...buildings...
Tinkerbell flies 'cause of the dust and lands in
Neverland.

BS You cant tell that is a person shape. other then you know it is a person and so your brain is putting the parts together. If I just posted that random you would not be able to say you knew what that was.
CptnSkippy wrote:Disagree - my digital camera has a 3x optical zoom. Only when it is zoomed all the way in, does the size of the live object match what I see with my naked eye.
Ok, so an unzoomed camera = or less then the naked eye. The point still remains that with the naked eye, one can not tell that Tink is a person on a wire.

Funny how your not showing it.
Nice to know that I could go to the top of the train station and be equal to the top of the castle. Amazing Disney magic there.

Maybe YOU can't... but there clearly are plenty of people who can.

You're so right. The cable that's there is for Prince Charming's ESPN and that was the only way to get it to him quick enough to make him happy (you know how royalty can be). Yes, Tink follows the wire but that's so she always follows the same route, it's her guide.

Not unless they have bionic sight. I have 20/20 vision (that's perfect btw).
