If I got to pick my opponents, I'd always prefer one with a seasoned, knowledgeable attorney. They're the ones who can be objective and honestly evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their case and handle it appropriately. Those who represent themselves or who have a mediocre lawyer never seem to know when they're beaten, so it just drags things out unnecessarily.

Whoops, sorry. Just got off the Monorail to see that Wombat had it taken care of. If you have any complaints regarding the services of Marsupial and Marsupial, please take it up with our complaint department sometime last week. They should be open then.

Does it matter why they ruin the fun? My problem is, if they are doing it to me, how much easier is it to ruin it for another guest, especially one on their first visit who may not understand yet what the Disney experience is all about, but is just learning? When the SG comes along and marrs it for them to the point that that is what they expect to happen, it's time to take that SG out of the park. I can handle a SG doing their thing to me, but to another guest is disgusting. Those are the ones who get the vicious treatment, the ones with a complete apathy toward the experience of their fellow guest.

Keep us updated on that story... of course, I suppose you may or may not be able to give details during the legal stuff... I am hoping the word difficult doesn't completely describe his trials and trevails.

Or you might have that lawyer who knows he's beaten but needs the money...

No kidding!!! I'm on a homeowner's association board. We just got done with a case that dragged on for TEN years because of the guy's ego and him going pro se. It took a decision by the state supreme court to finally nail his coffin closed.

Did you notice that the poorest of the poor all have lawyers. Whenever an injustice or perceived injustice happens to them the first words out of their mouths are "I'm going to call my Lawyer".

It tickles me since a large part of my job is customer service and at least 9 out of 10 people that call in even the most minor of complaints are ready to see their lawyer and have at us if we don't cough up a check to cover their pain and suffering.

These are people that we transport to the food shelf three times a day. They all seem to have lawyers on retainer and no matter what else they have to go without always have cell phones and cigarettes. It's a funny world. I can't wait to retire so I can sit on benches, call in complaints and demand money.

The real problem is not them as much is it is our society and businesses that will "settle" instead of fighting or even saying no. We are a society of wimps and deserve all the crap we get, I guess. Math in corporate circles is sadly lacking. They think that non paying customers must be kept at all costs because they don't want to offend them and possibly lose their business. In the words of Reba..."what a bunch of mo-rons".

Their lawyers are probably ambulance chasers looking for a quick buck. Check out the Danny Devito character in Rain Man.

Rain Man? I only remember Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman.
I like Danny DeVito MUCH more than Cruise, tho, and any movie would be cooler with him in it! :D:

Ego/pro se boy also neglected to make any house payments as he was also suing the bank for enough money to pay off the house, the eight credit cards he and his wife had maxed out with out ever paying a dime on, a second mortgage, three personal loans, and us. After the last summary judgment session that determined he was full of hot air and there would be no trial, the bank foreclosed. The sale is the end of this month.

As we're in second place in the line of creditors, we should be made whole after the sale takes place. I'm going to show up at the courthouse to cheer on the bidders.

When I worked at Shrek 4D, guest were NOT allowed to tape or photograph at ALL. So I constantly would be telling people no pictures, no tapping. What killed me the most was people trying to tape the 3D part of the show. One guest even though they were cleaver enough to put the 3D glasses over the lens of the camera.
Seeing a little red dot in a see of cattle watching the show, was a give away some one was filming. If we had flash lights, some CMs would shine the light in their face and yell " No filming" over the show. The biggest give away was the glow on the face from the camcorder screen.
Come to think of it, is it just me or do forgien tourists record the most? Also, I see many local latinos film and then pull the " I don't speak English" card.
