This has been a known fact for about 6 months now. Its going to be a DVC resort... the hub has a modle of what it looks like or going to at least...

Then the Knott family sold it to Cedar Fair, and the place has gone to you-know-where since. Now it's a ghetto park that attracts gangbangers and disappointed tourists. I still remember being so upset when I had to tell guests that certain attractions, the main one being the Haunted Shack, and later the Original Berry Stand, are no more. Cedar Fair should be nicer to Knott's--it's their only park that's open year-round, and is thus their biggest moneymaker. But the place is so far gone, it's being powered by the energy produced from Walter and Cordelia Knott spinning in their graves.
Well, IMHO KBF is no where as bad as the Paramount parks that CF boaught. My wife and I worked for Paramount Parks for a while, and they whored it out to every division of Paramount.... Hello Blockbuster Home Video owned us at one time.....

Not really. Ko Olina was designed as a planned community. The DVC will share lagoon 1 with the Marriott.

I know! We stay in a relative's condo at Ko Olina. It's next to the Marriot and Lagoon 1, which has been very nice and uncrowded up until now.

That new resort looks really cool. I wonder what the waiting list will be for that resort. I wonder if I could get my friend to buy a time share there and send us over there for a week. :D:

The only active volcanos in Hawaii are on the Big island about 150 miles away. However, when the Kona (south) winds are blowing, Oahu gets choked with vog. It's so bad the sky is yellow but the sunsets are unbelievable.
As for Godzilla, that depends on how much nuclear waste is being dumped into the ocean from the secret research site in the mountains above Kapalua.
