That is Great! but if he listens to "Like a Surgeon" you might want to explain that it is NOT OK to be last in your class!BRWombat wrote:One of his very earliest, if I recall.
GREAT Weird Al story -- my oldest son is on his school's whiz quiz team, and last year they won First Place at District - the highest competition at their grade level. At the finals, the one question Brandon chimed in and answered correctly was "Where are the Islands of Langerhans?" Tricky, because it sounds like a geography question, but actually it's anatomy. The Islands of Langerhans are part of the pancreas...
...which Brandon knew not because of the many early morning hours of study and practice with the team, but because of track 2, "Pancreas," on Weird Al's "Straight Outta Lynwood" CD!!
I couldn't have been prouder. :D:
And I wonder WHO gave it to me....Don't encourage the Princess!LOL!!!!!! :p:DisneyMom wrote:Susi, I noticed that now you are PRINCESS SUSI.
New Tiara? ;) :D: :p:
Now that is funny! One way I memorized "Bartonella Henselae" n my microbiology class was to sing it. It is actually the name for the common illness "Cat Scratch Fever!" Go Nugent!!!!!! :D:BRWombat wrote:One of his very earliest, if I recall.
