Luckily for the dog there was no chocolate in the batter.
The only problem with that,is it ruins the taste of the brownies, and wastes the 'herb'.
(we used to cook the brownies while 'consuming' the herb)

What Churchy left out was that feeding human food can cause gastric distress, among other problems, in the critters that eat it. Some can actually die from eating human food. Check out ASPCA's list of foods that are toxic to animals--
www.aspca.org. And to RandyB, you were thinking of histoplasmosis. Another problem is that, especially if you're bitten or scratched by a bird or animal, is the risk of disease. It's believed that the so-called Spanish flu pandemic of the early 1900's was an avian flu that mutated and jumped to humans. Why it was called Spanish flu when it was first detected at a college in Kansas, if I remember right, is beyond me. Don't start another epidemic!

Thanks felinefan as I know it is wrong but cannot explain why. The Spanish Flu occurred during war time so many countries were censoring the media but Spain was neutral so they go a lot of publicity. It was also called grippe after the Spanish term La Grippe.
Feed scavenger and nuisance animals does not work though. The wild birds that are not native will eat anything and have cast iron stumaches.

I seem to be unable to post a new topic, so I'll put this here. It kind of fits. I just read a very lengthy, but horrifying article on what soy products really do to you--and the animals that eat them. Look here:food.consumercide.com/soy_compl.html . Soy can be hidden in so many foods, and if you've ever wanted to know why people today are so dumb, it's because they eat all this soy shit and it's making them brain damaged. Consider yourself warned!

Where's the beef?! Where's the beef?!
Gotta love old commercials.

Been there and done that as I am sensitive to soy pretty bad and it is in everything so it seems so I just eat the garbage as I have no choice other than home cooking.
