Shoplifting at Disney World
Re: Shoplifting at Disney World
So... What happened? Did the guy and his family get in and complete their vacation?
Just curious to see if he was a SG or not. :)

I like that. (will use that next time I need some $ from the baker) :D:hhsrat wrote:At WDW, whenever one department needs some supply that they're currently out of, and another department has (rags, pans and brooms are pretty common examples), the department that needs it will often send someone to the other department's storage areas/closets to facilitate the "Re-allocation of company resources"

My Alma Mater's theater troupe has been known to "acquire" things from else place on campus. Usually they get put back when we're done with them... (dining hall chairs, hand trucks) but if they're expendable (printer paper, tape, etc...) not so much.

Reminds me of the time my college friends and I would "relocate" large pieces of furniture -- sofas, usually -- from one building to another, just to see if anyone would say anything. It's amazing what you can get away with if you just try to look like you have permission. Re: Shoplifting at Disney World
I've had a long standing desire to do a year long study of the motion of the Barton Hall common area couches. They get frequently re-arranged, added, removed, etc. I wanted to take a photo from the same spot and angle of them, once a day all year... but I never got the chance, and it's just not plausible now that I live 30 minutes away in another town.

WOOT! Go RED!!!! *Ahems.* I thought there must be another Barton Hall someplace because it's built into the hill like that... how could there be parking on a hill like that...
How WAS there parking on a hill like that?
I lived in Barton. The denizens of the other Freshman Hill Halls strongly disliked us Bartonians. (BARH and QUAD Freshers could care less.) They were always moving our couches, and setting trashcan fires in the middle of the night to make us stand outside in the rain... bastards. They were just jealous of our sweet digs!

The parking lot was at street level, surrounded by grassy slopes up to the dorms with a set of stairs or two. It wasn't a huge lot or anything, maybe 30-40 spaces.Mayonnaise wrote:WOOT! Then sophomore year I moved a whole 100 yards away, into the RSE house. ;)
